The Roots of My Passion

My journey in the floral world began almost 20 years ago as a part-time delivery driver for Judy Martin at Savannah Florist. Back then, I knew very little about the business; I was just there to deliver arrangements and help out where I could. But as the miles added up, so did my curiosity. I started experimenting with design, decorating the showroom, and eventually, I realized I hadn't just found a job—I’d found a calling.

The dream of owning my own shop was both exciting and terrifying. I spent a lot of time in prayer and sought the wisdom of my mentor, Don Long. He sat with me through numerous talks, helping me navigate the "good and the bad" of entrepreneurship. With his guidance and a lot of faith, I found the perfect location and took the leap.

In December 2012, I officially opened the doors of Daisy Dreams Floral.

The journey hasn't always been easy. There were long hours, self-discipline, and more than a few tears. But through every high and low, my passion for people kept me going. Whether it’s bringing a smile to someone’s face during a celebration or offering a heart of comfort during a time of sorrow, I’ve learned that flowers are about more than just petals—they are about connection.

Today, Daisy Dreams stands as proof that dreams really do become reality. I owe every bit of this success to my incredible family, friends, and the wonderful customers who have supported me for over a decade.
